Ask fish and game: hunter orange

Q. I see that the Upland game brochure now contains information on turkeys; does this mean it is now required that hunters wear 36 inches of hunter orange while turkey hunting as well as upland game birds? Can you please clarify this for me?

Turkeys are labeled as upland birds BUT you don't have to wear hunter orange if you hunt...Turkey - Ducks & geese and Doves. These birds can see color and if you wore orange, you would go home with no duck
