PRINCETON TOWNSHIP, NJ—According to a recent article in New Jersey's Star Ledger newspaper, a drug meant to help manage white-tailed deer populations has been placed on the shelf for good after failing tests in both New Jersey and Ohio. Two dozen white-spotted whitetail fawns were reportedly spotted on several occasions in Princeton Township, New Jersey-all of which officials say are offspring of female deer injected last year with the birth-control vaccine SpayVac.
